Tag : Spare The Rod, Spoilt the Child
This is an interesting tag from Chanel and passed to me. As for me, i didn't buy any cane but i use the balloon sticks, whenever MX gots the balloons at the shopping mall, then, i will keep the sticks and pass the balloon to MX. I will keep and can use the stick as a rod or cane when only MX needs to be punished in special circumstances, isn't a good idea?
Actually, i don't use it very often unless MX starts having lots of tantrums and whinnies without any reason or try testing my patience. At first, i will only give him a verbal warning but if he keeps on repeat the same things and not even wants to listen to me, then, i feel that cane is appropriate provided that it is done the right way, after he been punished, usually i will explain to him why he gets punished and tell him that i love him and give him a hug. I have had to do it as a way to get his attention so he will listen to what i have teach him. Therefore, i believe that cane can be used, but at times it was required, and the results were positive.
But, sometimes, MX is smart, he will apologize and promise he will be a clever boy next time before he gets cane. I spotted few times, if i forget to put back the cane at the right place, he will try to break the sticks or hide at others place in order i can't find it when i want to use it.

MX Sick Again!!
Today, when i fetched MX that time, his principle (Ms Alice) came and told me that MX had vomited once at 3pm. Therefore, she does not give MX dinner. I quickly went into his classroom and saw him laid down on the mattress and looked very tired. I felt very sad. Alice double confirmed with him again, whether he wants take his dinner or not. MX replied that he got stomachache and doesn't want to take any dinner. I told Alice that, i will bring MX to see doctor now, if he still not feeling well tomorrow, he might not going to school and Alice noted.
Just after i stepped out from the school compound, MX vomited the second time. At this time, he vomited on my blouse and my jeans but thank god not in the car seat. Can you image that? Teacher Rani came out and help me to carry MX into the school again and cleaned up him. And i went to take my gym bag in the car. Because today, i'm planning to attend my Pilate's class, that why i put another set of cloths inside the car. After settle everything, i straight away drove my car to the clinic. Doctor suspected MX got food poisoning, and need to fasting this whole night. No foods and milk allows until tomorrow morning. Doctor gave 2 medicines, after paying the bills, cancelled my Pilate's class and headed to home.
Haih... I just wonder, how come this month MX's immune system seems so weak. Last week, he got cough, flu and fever. While this week, on the recovering stage, suddenly he got food poisoning, i really felt worries, sad about him and tired about myself. Hopefully, tomorrow MX will be better.

Pay Less Books Warehouse Sales
Yup, we went to the Pay Less Books Warehouse Sales yesterday, thanks to Chanel because she always update where and when got warehouse sales.
We reached there around 12.30noon at YMCA KL and the weather quite hot. But, they having the warehouse sales in the YMCA's hall. It is air-conditioning, haha:D (very scare of hot).
The kids's books range is discount 50% off. Therefore, we bought total 11books and cost us Rm48.00, isn't cheap? Some range of books discount 70% , some is good deal from Rm5 - Rm15 and some Buy 2 Free 1. I bought 1 book "Caring For Your Baby And Young Child from Birth to Age 5", is an essential child-care resources and cost me Rm10.00 and 1 non-fiction novel, Rm5.00. But, all books there mainly is very old and some even pre-owned. So if you don't mind it, actually is worth to buy and read it.
We spent there about 2½hrs then headed back to home because MX is going to cranky and wants to take his afternoon nap.

The moment he entered into the Zoo, he so so excited because he saw a Kangaroo mascot standing there. He quickly ran to the mascot and insisted wants to take photo with it.
We spent a almost 1 day at the Safari World, Bangkok, we had safari cruise inside the cab around because all the animals are free from the cage. We enjoyed to watch performances by trained animals like Orang Utan, birds, and seals.
After the shows, we shopped in Safari’s jungle-themed souvenir shop and MX was very enjoyed that day.

Another Weekend again
Over last 2 weeks, i'm not feeling well and very busy with office works. That's why i didn't have my time to update my blog.
Yesterday, we brought MX to cinema watched Ratatouille. He's not enjoyed to watch the movie, i think maybe he still can't really understand and prefers action movie. Compare to last time, we brought him to watch Transformer, he's more enjoyed.
We watched the show at 11.30am and ended at 1.30pm. Then, we straight away headed back to home because he started cranky and wanted to take his afternoon nap. After he awaken from his nap, we went to mil's house to have dinner.
My mil cooked a lot of dishes, got steamed chicken, roast duck, broccoli with mushroom and meat ball soup. The dinner was so delicious and everyone of us ate so much and full.
After the dinner, daddy wanted to have hair cut, so we went to Indian Barber shop. Daddy suggested MX also need a hair cut too because his hair has grown long too. All the way, MX was so cooperative and patient to let the barber to cut his hair until done. Daddy awarded MX with a Lolly-pop of his good behaviour.

Taiwanese Steamboat
Yesterday, we had dinner Restaurant Tian Shiang at Jalan Pudu. This is a Taiwanese franchise steamboat restaurant.
The soup is a bit different from others steamboat what we ate usually. Mainly, the soup is made from 100% Chinese herbs. It comes with 2 different choices of soup. One is spicy and another one with without spicy. I love to eat because the taste is good until i do not need any sauce.
It is something new, but the price is a bit expensive compare we eat ordinary steamboat. If you have not try yet, is a good time to try it..

You Are 34% Vain |
Okay, so you're slightly vain from time to time, but you're not superficial at all. You are realistic. You know that looks matter. You just try to make them matter less. |

ProJet
Two months ago, i was one of the Winners in the Projet Win It Contest 2007. I had won the Daily prizes of Projet Petrol vouchers worth Rm 50 (Rm 10x5).
I had used the vouchers and left 1 petrol voucher worth Rm 10. I had tried few Projet Petrol station outlets since last month. But, mainly Projet petrol station does not accept the voucher anymore. The reason they gave me is, Shell is taking over it slowly by starting early of August. And the voucher is no longer valid.
I had make a call to ProJet Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the telephonist told me that, they can't do anything with the voucher because Shell is taking over Projet in Malaysia in this month. It means that, Projet will no longer in Malaysia anymore. What a sad news! I've been supported Projet since 2001 until now. And she asked me to keep the voucher as a souvenir.
