1st Time!

This is very 1st time that my boy didn't come back sleep with us and he overnight at my parent's house. Yesterday was the school holiday started, and early in the morning, my dad came and fetched him. He was so happy and waved 'bye bye' to me. In the evening, my dad gave me a call and asked me what time I would reach home because he wants to send MX to come back, I told him another ½ hour will reach home. But, my dad called me again in 10mins, he told me that MX doesn't want to go home and wants to overnight at his house. Then, he passed the phone to MX, and here is what he told me:-

MX: Mummy, today I don't want to go home, I want to sleep at Gong gong's house, can or not?
Me: Are you sure?
MX: Yes, mummy, I will come back tomorrow.
Me: Ok la, you must be a good boy, ok?
MX: Ok, mummy. Bye.

Then, he hangs up the phone. At that moment, I still don't believe that he will not coming back tonight and this is the very very1st time that he didn't sleep with us.

Honestly, I'm a bit of miss him, because ever since he born-ed he will sleep with us and yesterday night without him and really feel differently.

Haha! Really kind of weired of me :D

Happy Boy!

I love to take MX photo when he is in the good mood. He will smile happily and cooperate with you when you ask him to look at the camera. You can see from the photo and feel how happy he is :D

I am glad that MX is a happy boy althought sometimes he quite naughty. Mummy hopes you will grow healthy, happy and be good boy all the times! We loves you, boy!

38Mths!

Today MX reaches 38mths, just recall that, last two months he just celebrated his third birthday. How times flies! Now, he’s in the stage of "Goodbye babyhood, hello childhood"!

Height: 90cm
Weight: 15kg

• Knows his own name, age and sex.


• Can name pictures in a book.


• Able to put on his own shirt and shoes, but will need help with buttons


• Can jump in place and stand briefly on one foot.


• Able to feed himself pretty well


• Loves to ask questions, curiosity knows no limits


• Fears of the dark, thunder, lightning


• Are trained during the day but still do not stay dry at night


• Sometimes, he loves to show his tantrum


• He loves to open cabinets and drawers, pulling out everything inside


• He loves to play with water, wherever he finds it–in sinks, toilets, tubs, fish bowls, and puddles.


• Loves to approach dogs, cats, and other children to play


• So far, he did pretty well in the school.

Superbike!

My neighbour (Mr Ong) has a super-bike, everytime, MX will eye on this super-bike. One day, Mr Ong suddenly offered MX to have a ride with him. MX was so excited and happy without thinking, he accepted his offers. But, before Mr Ong start the engine, MX requested me to take photo for him first. You can see from the pictures, he looks so cool :p

Of course, MX wouldn't go ride with Mr Ong, because he still scare. He just sat on the super-bike for few minutes, then he will ask me to carry him and say 'Thank you' to my neighbour.

Pearly White

This photo was taken by his god father last 2 weeks when i tag along with him to attend one of my primary schoolmate's wedding dinner. Lots of friend comments that MX has a very bright and white teeths. It because every night before he sleeps, i will ask him to brush his teeth. So far, he is doing well. I have no problem at all. Hahaha :D

Pink colour one?!

Recently, MX is very particulars about colours. Especially he knows which colours is for girls and for boys. There was one day, i brought him to my parent's house, and my father gave him a toy motorcycle which is pink and purple colours. At first, he didn't really see what actual colour of that toy because he was so happy and excited. He showed me his toy and asked me for the permission to open the toy. I agreed and asked him to get help from Gong gong. Once, my father open the toy and passed it to him, see what he said. Here is the conversation between he and his Gong gong.

MX : Pink colour one?! It is for girl, not for boy. (with a sad and disappointment sound)

Gong gong : *Speechless*

MX : I don't want, this is for girl not for boy.

Gong gong : No la, MX this is for boy because girl does not ride motorcycle only boy rides motorcycle.

MX : *think few second* Yes! Girl no (rides) motor, only boy.

Finally, he accepted the toys. Thanks Goodness! Hahaha :D . My sister heard the whole conversation too, she laughed and told my father next time buy toys to MX, better choose the right colours to him, else MX will complaint then does not want the toy.

Sometimes, i just wondering at their age now, they know how to differentiate the colours for boy and girl already. So Smart and funny!

MX Sick Again!!

Today, when i fetched MX that time, his principle (Ms Alice) came and told me that MX had vomited once at 3pm. Therefore, she does not give MX dinner. I quickly went into his classroom and saw him laid down on the mattress and looked very tired. I felt very sad. Alice double confirmed with him again, whether he wants take his dinner or not. MX replied that he got stomachache and doesn't want to take any dinner. I told Alice that, i will bring MX to see doctor now, if he still not feeling well tomorrow, he might not going to school and Alice noted.

Just after i stepped out from the school compound, MX vomited the second time. At this time, he vomited on my blouse and my jeans but thank god not in the car seat. Can you image that? Teacher Rani came out and help me to carry MX into the school again and cleaned up him. And i went to take my gym bag in the car. Because today, i'm planning to attend my Pilate's class, that why i put another set of cloths inside the car. After settle everything, i straight away drove my car to the clinic. Doctor suspected MX got food poisoning, and need to fasting this whole night. No foods and milk allows until tomorrow morning. Doctor gave 2 medicines, after paying the bills, cancelled my Pilate's class and headed to home.

Haih... I just wonder, how come this month MX's immune system seems so weak. Last week, he got cough, flu and fever. While this week, on the recovering stage, suddenly he got food poisoning, i really felt worries, sad about him and tired about myself. Hopefully, tomorrow MX will be better.

Show Tantrums

Lately, i realise that MX likes to show his tantrum when something is not right for him. Sometimes, he just ok and happy and the second minutes, he is showing his tantrum for nothing. He will started to bite, pinch and scratch me when he was frustrated, ever since after he reached his 3rd birthday. I try to be nice told him that his behaviour was not nice, that it hurt mummy, and that he would have to go into the naughty corner but he will repeat and pretend can't even listen to me. I was very mad, without any patient to him, and i started to use the cane and caned him. I know, i know, i'm doing this way is not good, but beside this what others way that i can use? I really don't know what else can i can do. Besides, shouting, remaining calm and ignoring him, it seem doesn't work. I had tried few ways like, soft spoken, hard spoken, rewards system even punishment also can't help any. He will listen to you when he really wants to listen to you. He will apologize when he knows he was doing something bad or not good. Haih... Sometimes, i really don't know how to handle or cope with him when he is showing his tantrums. Any suggestions, mummies?

I Don't Fren You Already!

This is another phase that MX loves to use, ' i don't fren you already' whenever he requests something that been rejected or sad, angry or his friend doesn't want to bother about him. Even in the class sometimes he will say to his teacher when teacher force him to do something.

Today, when i picked up MX that time, suddenly i heard a little boy said this phase. When i turned back, saw a little boy around 2yrs old said it to his friend, i think because the little boy wants to ride tricycle, coincident his friend had just sat on it. I just wonder, is it every kids will go thru this stage by saying 'I don't fren you already'! Hahaha!!

MX Sick!

I think now is the season of flu, cough and fever, because the flu and cough bugs come to visit MX. I brought him to see his doctor just now. Doctor said is good that MX's throat does not get infection and at this moment do not need the antibiotic but still need to observe him for 4 days.

If the fever come back again, then mummy need to bring him back to the doctor. Doctor told me that the HMF (hand, mouth, foot) is coming back and this few weeks, lots of child are getting this, so, doctor need mummy more caution.

Oh my boy! Please recover soon, if not, mummy will very worry about you.

You Cannot Catch Me!

Lately, MX love to use this phase " You cannot catch Me"!. Especially, when he runs or he wants daddy carry him and i pretend to chase him. He sure will shout out loudly and laugh.

There was one day, we brought him to the park and his tricycle. Daddy and i walked slowly behind him, suddenly, he said 'you cannot catch me' and stepped the pedal very fast, and wants us to chase him :D

Hair Cut

Last Sunday, i brought MX to the Indian Barber's shop to have hair cut. At first, he was ok but after few minutes, he started impatient already.. I think because the barber still new and don't know how to cut a child's hair. He started turned here and there. And looked unhappy.

I told him after the hair cut, i will buy him ice-cream. After that, he is ok. Hahaha :D

Happy 3rd Birthday To My Boy!

Today, MX is officially 3 years old ! This morning, when we reached at school, some of his class mate wished him 'Happy Birthday', he will replied 'Thank you' with a big smile:D

I knew he is very happy and excited. I settled down him and informed teacher that i will be back at 11.30am because i need to bring his birthday cake. When i reached school, MX was very happy to see because he knew that mummy is bringing his birthday cake. All childrens already gather in the canteen and waiting.

When we opened the cake, all the children were happy and ready to sing 'Happy Birthday' to MX. MX was very excited because he was standing in front of them. All the children sang it very loudly.

Later on, i gave all the party packs to all the children. They were very happy too.

Party Pack!

This morning, daddy already flew to Bangkok, 4days 3nights for business trip. I brought MX back to my parent's house. Kong kong , Yi yi and Jiu Jiu wanted to celebrate MX's birthday earlier because tomorrow is MX's birthday. And he will celebrate his 3rd birthday at school.

My youngest sister's boy friend bought a black forest cake to MX. He was so happy and wanted us to sing 'Happy Birthday' song to him, even he can't wait us finished singing the song and cut the cake straightly, haha.

Since tomorrow is MX's birthday, finally i had finished up to pack all the party packs for his class mate. Sure the kids will happy. Wanna to see what inside the party pack? Check it out at the photo :P

Templer's Park Waterfall

Last Sunday, it was hot and sunny day. So, i decided went to Templer's Park Waterfall. I have not been there for so many year, i think the last time i went was about 7 years ago. Haha!

We started our journey at 2pm and reached here about 2.40pm. MX was so excited to see some of the children played in the river. He also seen monkeys.

Daddy wanted to spot a better place for MX to play in the water, we walked into the jungle that can see waterfall but too bad, that wasn't a good place for MX played. Finally, we got spotted a good place and easy for MX go into the water. I had changed MX to his swimwear and daddy also went into the water just waiting MX, but suddenly, MX claimed that the water is dirty and mummy has no choice and carry him to daddy and let daddy put him into the water. After a while, he started to enjoy the cold water but still needed mummy hold his hand.

Daddy saw there were 3 snakes in the water but not at our place. Due to the worries, we afraid that the 3 snakes might swim over to here, daddy said let's go to another place. MX looked unhappy but we told him that there were snakes over there and scared the snakes might bites him. Daddy promised him to spot another good place for him to play.

We walked out from the jungle and spotted a good place whereby at the 1 bend of the river. MX started went into the river and started played, kicked and splashed water. This time, he no more needed mummy hold his hand. We enjoyed the to see some of the children played in the water and the scenery. I enjoyed to see MX laughed and enjoyed himself in the water. He even builded a sand castle. Daddy was very busy to help catch some little fish in the water.

After 2 hours we spent there, we decided to pack and go home. MX wanted daddy next time bring him come here again :D

Fun At Park

I love to bring MX to park. why? Because every time, he sure will enjoy and having a lot of fun times. You can see from the pictures.

Besides he having fun times, he usually very active run here and there. :D

I really enjoy to see him so happy and enjoy in the park.

35 Months....

Time flies so fast, this month MX reached 35mths. Next month, he will celebrate his 3rd birthday and this forgetful mom forgot to update :p

I found out that MX has improved a lot of his languages and words. Here some of the scenerios:-
Scenerio 1:
Mummy : MX, here's your yogurt.
MX : Thank you, mummy. (Drink very fast, within 10mins finished)
MX : Mummy, please give me little bit more.
Mummy : No, you already finished your's, no more for you.
MX : Please mummy, little bit only. You're good girl.
Mummy : Huh? if mummy, don't want give you anymore, then....
MX : You are naughty girl! (answered very fast and firm voice).

Scenerio 2:
Mummy : MX come, is time for take bath.
MX : Don want! (coz he's watching 'The Cars' cartoon)
Mummy : Please come and i'm waiting for you now.
MX : No, Not finish yet. Wait first ar!
Mummy: Ok, after you finish watch the cartoon, then go take bath.
MX : Thank you, mummy and i love you.

Scenerio 3:
MX : Mummy, i want go to park and play.
Mummy : You go and ask daddy first.
MX : Daddy said ok. (without asking his father)
Mummy : Are you sure?
MX : ...... (didn't answered and laugh)

Suddenly, i felt MX has grow up so much :D

An Early Birthday Present!

MX's birthday is coming next month. But, few days ago, i received a parcel from oversea and the name on the parcel is for MX.

Moon Cake Lover......

The moon cake festival is around the corner. So, i had bought some moon cake to eat. (i love to eat moon cake with plain paste, what abou you?)

Out of my surprise, MX love to eat too.

34 Months.....

Today, MX is officially 34 mths. Time flies so fast, another two months, he will turn 3yrs old!!

Here some of his milestone:-
Motor Skill
~ He can jumps from the sofa to the floor
~ He loves to run here and there
~ He can feeds himself pretty well by using a spoon and fork
like an adult
~ He can wears cloths, pants and even shoe by himself
~ He can brushes teeth by himself (sometimes, he will still need
my help and supervision)

Talking Skill
~ He names pictures he sees in books and can identify objects
from television shows and video
~ He uses sentences of six or more words
~ He uses phrase like Please, Thank you, You're Welcome,
Excuse Me and I'm Sorry
~ He speaks well enough for strangers to understand

Learning Skill
~ He enjoys using the telephone but is unable to concentrate for long
and can only communicate for a short period of time
~ He likes using his hands and lovers finger painting, clay modeling
and building toys such as Lego
~ He knows count from 1 to 10.

Toilet Training
~ He uses and adult toilet by potty seat when he poo.
~ He stays dry most at daytime
~ He switch from sitting to standing to pee
